Hotham leads UMPI to victory over Machias

PRESQUE ISLE- The University of Maine at Presque Isle Owls jumped out to a 50-18 first half lead and cruised to a 92-49 victory over the University of Maine at Machias on Wednesday evening.

Five players scored in double figures for the Owls.

Amanda Hotham scored 21 points and pulled down seven rebounds to lead the Owls

Kristin Thompson recorded 17 points, six rebounds, four steals, and three assists. Olivia McNally chipped in with 15 points and five steals.

Sydney Churchill scored 13 points in 19 minutes. Darby Toth recorded 10 points, five rebounds, and four steals.

Emma LeGallais led Machias with 14 points, seven rebounds, and five assists.

Presque Isle (4-0) will next play at Fisher on Sunday.
