October can be scary. The weather grows increasingly cold. The leaves fall as much of nature begins to die. We celebrate Halloween with monsters and mayhem.
We shouldn't forget that monsters can be fun. "Hotel Transylvania Dash" reminds us of how even small children can enjoy the famous monsters we know and love.
You are Dracula. You run a five-star hotel made especially for monsters only, as a safe haven from the human world. Your goal is to be the perfect host, doing everything from checking in your guests to bringing them room service and towels.
In each level you will be given a goal you have to reach in order to become an expert. This sounds easy enough but dealing with monsters is anything but. They become easily agitated if waiting too long for anything they want.
You will have to manage your rooms with accuracy and quickness, keeping everything in order so as to keep your guests happy.
This is a perfect game for kids. The animation is geared toward children. Dracula is not the blood sucking beast of literature but instead he is a lovable and charming host. The other monsters who appear in the hotel, such as swamp monsters and mummies are also fun and quirky. The game is not just for children. It is also addicting for adults, making it great for all ages.
You earn tips from the services you provide. These are used to buy upgrades for the hotel such as artwork for the walls (to keep guests happy while they wait and increase tips) and faster elevators. You will also collect blood bills which are used to buy furnishings for Dracula's suite.
The game becomes increasingly crowed with guests lining up at the door for check-in. You will have to have fast reflexes to keep up with them all.
It is easy to become overwhelmed with scares this month. If you are looking for monsters of the fun-loving type, "Hotel Transylvania Dash" is the perfect place to start.
