The popular “Ride the Rails with DART” package at Kimpton’s Hotel Palomar Dallas offers a 25 percent discounted room rate for guests who present a mass transit Rail Day Pass used during their stay.
The package, originally scheduled to end in December, has been extended through June 2011. Use the rate code RAILS to book the package. Andrew Wright, general manager of Hotel Palomar Dallas, made the announcement at a Sept. 21 event.
Mockingbird Station is just across the street from the hotel. Wright said the prime location “offers guests an affordable, eco-friendly and convenient way to get around Dallas – whether to business meetings or taking in the arts downtown to shopping at the many popular destinations along the rail.”
The Green Seal certified hotel is known for its high sustainable standards. Kimpton’s goal is to be the first boutique hotel company in the U.S. to attain 100 percent Silver Green Seal certification.
