Hotel Mazarin has just opened their doors in the French Quarter in New Orleans, LA just in time for all the football bowl games and the Mardi Gras season. To celebrate the occasion, the hotel is offering special rates and a sweepstakes (details below).
The new hotel opened their doors on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 after a multi-million dollar renovation to the site. Hotel Mazarin was named after the famous European Diplomat and Catholic Pontiff, Cardinal Jules Mazarin. Cardinal Mazarin was a colorful "17th century statesman, aide- de -camp to French Royalty, Machiavellian scholar and chief financial minister to Queen Anne, longtime Regent of France on behalf of Louis the XIV." In his spare time he loved to indulge in gambling. However, he was an accomplished man and his reputation always sided with his professional duties. It is with Cardinal Mazarin's spirit that the designers used to create the atmosphere of Hotel Mazarin.
Hotel Mazarin is located at 730 Bienville, in the heart of the historical French Quarter in New Orleans. The unique atmosphere plays on the history of both Cardinal Mazarin and New Orleans and delivers a very unique setting for both tourists and businessmen visiting the "Big Easy."
Hotel Mazarin has 102 guest rooms and provides luxurious accommodations and first class amenities for guests.
