Hot Toys has released a a series of new images of their upcoming 1/4 scale line of Iron Man 3 busts, which offer fans a first look at both Tony Stark's and James “Rhodey” Rhodes’ revamped armors as they'll appear on the big screen in Iron Man 3.
Hot Toys is proud to present the 1/4th scale Mark XLII Limited Edition Collectible Bust from one of the most anticipating blockbusters of the year - Iron Man 3 movie. It is specially produced based on the image of the iconic character Mark XLII in the movie, which is presented in fine sculpture, highlighting the light-up functions and metallic colored painting on armor.
The first three photos show us the new 'golden' Iron Man suit (Mark XLII) that first premiered at San Diego Comic Con last year. The latest armor, which boasts an overall golden-cream color, appears to have been influenced by the 'Extremis' comic book storyline on which much of the upcoming film has taken its inspiration from.
In addition to the Iron Man suit, fans also get a much closer look at James “Rhodey” Rhodes War Machine armor, which also gets a significant re-design when compared to the armor we first saw in Iron Man 2.
