The Ten Thousand Hour Rule theory states that it takes a minimum of ten thousand hours of practice and focus in order to be considered an expert in a subject. That may seem like a challenge but, According to Benjamin Bloom's Taxonomy of Educational Objectives: The Cognitive Domain, 95% of people have the capacity to learn and acquire knowledge in any field of study. Everyone has it in them to become an expert if they put their mind to it; all it takes is a lot of time, dedication, and practice.
