Hot NYC restaurant and wine outings in January

It's about to be one of my favorite times of year, NYC Restaurant week. Along with great priced meals, you can also find it easier to appreciate a great wine (since your meal is a bit cheaper) during this time. During this time (Jan 14 - Feb 8) you can partake in $25 lunches and $38 dinners, all three fabulous courses. This is a great time to try those spots you may usually avoid, like A Voce or Boulud Sud for lunch, or old favorites like Fig and Olive and Empire Steak House for dinner.

Also, Ilili (another favorite spot of mine in the city) is having a special wine feature every week for 5 weeks, where diners can taste Lebanese wines from various regions. These will be great with my favorites, the Mouhamara, Brussel Sprouts, Falafel, or Mixed Grll (or anything on the delicious menu).

Happy eating and drinking all!

Cheers!
