According to the March issue of Allure, these are the hot makeup looks for spring:
Lime Eyes – Sweep it over lids, diffusing it up to brows, or line the eyes’ inner lower corners (this option is probably more applicable for real-life situations, eh?) Pair with pale pink cheeks and lips.
Mango Lips – Pair with gold shadow and bronze cheeks. Bonus: it looks great on ALL skin tones!
Peacock Shadows – Dust purple around the lashes, then over lids, fading toward brows. Trace teal-green around inner corners. Pair with matte nude lipstick.
Denim Eyes – Sparkly blue shadow paired with pinky nude lipstick or sheer berry lip stain.
Rose Gold – This shade flatters all skin tones. Wear it all over, or mix and match with rose gold eyes and wine lipstick, or rose gold lips with chocolate eyes. (Suddenly I’m in the mood for wine and chocolate…)
Orchid Pink Lipstick – More sophisticated in a cream than a gloss. Dark skin looks better with a more violet pink. Pair with simple eyes – mascara and eyeliner.
Watermelon Gloss – Low shimmer gloss, paired with gold eye shadow. The darker your skin, the deeper the shade.
