Owners and enthusiasts of import cars from all over the Southeastern United States filled the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center in Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday the 21st for the final Hot Import Nights event of 2013.
Whether your interest lies in air-cooled Volkswagens or the most coveted performance machines directly imported from Japan, this year's Florida stop on the Hot Import Nights tour was sure to have what you were looking for.
Orlando-based Black Ops Performance made an appearance at this year's show, who had three 100% real right-hand-drive JDM cars on display, including an R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R and an S13 Nissan Silvia. Ryan Martinez, whose Infiniti M45 won the Best VIP award at the show, was also part of the Black Ops display and was kind enough to let me use the video captured from the camera mounted on his R/C drift car as he drove it around the show during setup - the link for the YouTube video is just to the left... be sure to check it out for a very special behind-the-scenes look at Hot Import Nights.
Rivsu Imports from Sanford also turned out with their own Japanese imports, including an R31 Skyline GTS-T and a classic 1978 Nissan Cedric. Rivsu Imports also held a raffle to give away an R31 Skyline GTS to one lucky winner.
Scion, a long-time supporter of Hot Import Nights, brought out some of their show cars, ranging from a stock tC to a turbocharged FR-S making over 500hp.
The center stage also featured a nightclub scene with DJs and dancing models.
In addition to the YouTube video, be sure to check out the slideshow for lots of pictures of some of the cars that were on display at Hot Import Nights.
