Highs and Lows for Sunday

What a great Mother's Day! Granted the morning had some leftover clouds from a cold front pushing through(and there was light rain north and west), but sunshine prevailed by mid-morning and lasted throughout the afternoon. We reached a high of 78 at Philly International Airport.

A warm front will push through the region on Monday propelling highs well into the 80s, but then that front pushes back south on Tuesday

Overnight will be mostly clear with lows around 60. A warm front pushes northward for Monday and temperatures will respond with highs in the middle 80s! We will have clouds increase in the late afternoon through the evening as the front nudges down as a backdoor cold front; there may be some light rain and drizzle with lows in the upper 60s and Tuesday's around 80 despite a mostly cloudy sky.

Wednesday will be the coolest day out of the work week with highs in the upper 60s as an onshore wind and light rain as that front sags further south; come Thursday a cold front pushes everything out, but it's anything but cold with highs in the upper 70s. A more potent cold front will be pushing through from Friday afternoon through Saturday with highs in the lower 70s, but then it's not until Sunday once we finally clear and dry out with highs in the lower 70s.
