Nothing says it's summer time quite like a grilled hot dog. A healthy brand of hotdog to grill up is Hebrew National Brand. They don't have all the fillers that a lot of other hotdogs have and they taste terrific!
Toppings for the summer grilled treat have turned from the mundane ketchup and mustard to the unexpected. The next time you grill out, create a condiment bar with some of these toppings to garnish your "dog".
- BBQ sauce, bacon and cheddar
- Nacho cheese and Fritos
- Baked beans and coleslaw
- Olive tapanade and sesame seeds
- Blue cheese crumbles and Frank's Red Hot Sauce
- Salsa
- French fried onions

Beer pairing: It's gotta be Brooklyn Pennant Ale. Especially with the blue cheese and hot sauce. Man, that would be like buffalo wings in hot dog form. mmm!
