Horsham Township and the Greater Horsham Chamber of Commerce will be hosting “Mardi Gras Extravaganza” on Feb. 21, 2012.
The event will be held at the Manor House at Commonwealth, 300 Tournament Dr. in Horsham from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Organizers hope to bring Horsham residents together with community leaders in a fun and creative way, using live music and food to break the ice.
“Mardi Gras is a great opportunity to meet business owners, corporate executives, nonprofit administrators, state, county and township officials, and community leaders,” said Chamber President Jo-Anne Zapata.
“We’re inviting everyone to ‘mingle and munch’. It will be a party no one will want to miss!”
The event offers a cash bar, valet parking, zydeco music by “The Untouchables.” Local businesses have also donated gift baskets that will be raffled off during the evening.
“We have about a dozen really great baskets from local businesses which we will raffle off at the event,” said Zapata.
“It's going to be a great event and a wonderful chance to mingle with our community leaders.”
Cost of the Mardi Gras Extravaganza is $35 per person. Reservations and payment may be made online until Friday, Feb. 17 or payment can be made the day of the event.
