True horror fans delight for soon to be here is the annual Motor City Nightmares Weekend! Skull House Pictures, a Detroit based movie production company with Tommy Brunswick and her husband Todd Brunswick, will deliver to the masses a chance to indulge in the wicked, sadistic, blood curdling, terror of horror and mayhem this April 25-27, 2014.
Exhibiting at the Sheraton Hotel in Novi, Michigan, vendors of all kinds set up horror shop to show off their talents and goodies. Whether its action figures, collectibles, posters, movies, t-shirts, or even coffin-shaped coffee tables, there will be something for everybody.
Celebrity guests will line the outer edges of the convention hall signing autographs and posing for photo opportunities delighting guests with their character personalities. One veteran guest will be George Kosana, the sheriff from the original "Night of the Living Dead". Kane Hodder best known for his portayal of Jason Vorhees in the "Friday the 13th " and "Hatchett" franchise, will share his mushot and stranglehold with guests who dare to take a picture with him. Dee Wallace from "E.T.", "Cujo", "Howling", and Rob Zombie's "Halloween" will embrace her audience with her smile.
There will be several contests this year such as the Horror Tattoo and Miss Nightmare presented at Saturday Night's Nightmare Ball. During Saturday's convention will be the Costume Contest, and on both Friday and Saturday will be presentations for the film fest awards.
In the auditoriums, horror shorts and full length features will be shown as they are competing in the film fest competitions. There will be workshops and Q & A panels held in some of the auditoriums too with the purchase of a ticket for each one.
One new change for 2014 is there will be a Nightmare Ball on both Friday and Saturday Night. So if you are afraid to miss one or want to go twice, this year you can. Dress up, wear your favorite costume, whatever your pleasure is then wear it to one of these parties.
