The incident, still under review by law enforcement, has some people surprised as the star has never been the type to be in the headlines in this manner. Offering up few details except that Hope’s sister and nephew allegedly had visible injuries after the altercation. Sources describe the situation as a party that got out of hand quickly.
The fans of soccer were surprised to hear of the incident as she turned down competing with her teammates. There was an international friendly game on Thursday in Hartford, Connecticut and the star didn’t attend the game due to “family commitments.” While there has been no word yet on when she might hit the field again, the athlete will first need to deal with getting out of jail before she can worry about heading to a field.

In her book “Solo: A Memoir of Hope” she athlete accused her “Dancing With the Stars” partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy of becoming physically aggressive towards her in rehearsals for the reality show. While the professional dancer has denied the situation completely, the soccer star used her book to discuss her treatment on the show.
