The Salvation Army of Tallahassee is hosting its First Annual “Hope for Kids” Golf Classic on Monday, September 16, 2013. This event will be held at the Killearn Country Club located at 100 Tyron Circle in Tallahassee, FL, and registration begins at 11:00 am. It is a fun-filled day which includes lunch and contests, with the shot gun start beginning at 1:00 pm.
Come out and join Amy Bond, the FSU Women’s Head Golf Coach, along with the FSU Women’s Golf Team for a rewarding event that will provide resources for youth in this community.
This event is being held to benefit youth programs for disadvantaged children in the Tallahassee region. The Salvation Army focuses intently on meeting the needs of children and youth in all of their communities because the young in age and heart are the foundation the world is built upon. Help support a worthy cause by participating in the tournament with a team or as an individual. All proceeds from the Golf Tournament benefit Tallahassee’s “most disadvantaged children who turn to the Salvation Army for a place to learn and grow”.
