Hope Animal Rescues, in Godfrey IL, is always going the extra mile to attempt to get their “Hope Dogs” a great fur ever home. According to a post on their Facebook page, dated April 21, 2014, they are offering a great deal this Saturday, April, 26 from 11a.m. to 4 p.m.

Hope Rescues volunteers take many of the available dogs to the Petco store at 6631 Edwardsville Crossing Drive, Edwardsville, IL nearly every Saturday in hopes of finding the dogs a good home. This Saturday, the Hope dogs will be there and will be available for adoption for a “Special Adoption Day Event.”

Those who adopt will receive $50.00 off the adoption fee and will also get five days of “free” doggie daycare at Club Paws that is located in Alton IL. The free days for doggie daycare will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. It does not include boarding, just daycare time.

This special is for pre-approved adopters. Anyone wishing to be pre-approved to adopt at this event can go to Hope Animal Rescues web site, fill out the online adoption application and then go to Petco on Saturday to see the dogs.

Did you see a certain dog on the web site or Hope’s Facebook page? You can put that information on the application and Hope Rescues will be sure to have that dog at their event. Some people are a little overwhelmed by the adoption application and wonder why there are so many questions.

The lengthy adoption application helps Hope Rescues insure that their dogs are going to a wonderful forever home. That’s why they ask you questions like, how long the dog will be alone and if you have a fenced yard, among other questions.

Hope Rescues does require that if for any reason an adopter can’t keep the dog, the dog is to be returned to them. This guarantees that in any unforeseen circumstances they know what happens to the dog and that he will still get good care, even if the adopter is no longer able to care for the dog. Hope Rescues never just adopts and forgets! Once a Hope dog...always a Hope dog!
