Chesapeake author Christy Barritt got into the spring of things by releasing two novels on the first day of the new season. The first, Mucky Streak, is her seventh novel in the adult Gabby St. Claire series. In this installment, the crime scene cleaner tackles a cold case that takes her far from home and Riley.

The second release, Curtain Call Caper, is the first novel in the Gabby St. Claire diary series, written for teens and tweens. Seventh grade Gabby is faced with a series of unfortunate events threatens to shut down the school play and jeopardizes her budding theatrical career. While trying to track down the culprit and save her fifteen minutes of fame, she also has to manage impossible teachers, cliques, her dysfunctional family, and a secret she can’t even tell her best friend.
