Hooter Hiders Pocket Design in Kyoto

Bebe au Lait has done it again with their Hooter Hiders brand of nursing covers. Their new designs, patterns, and packaging take the worlds most famous nursing covers up one more notch. For a limited time, they are offering free shipping on all orders!

Bebe au Lait sent me their new Pocket design Hooter Hider in Kyoto, the beautiful purple design on the left. The new designs retain the original features of the Hooter Hiders brand that have been around since 2004 - a high quality, lightweight fabric, the rigid neckline so you can see your baby (but no one else can!), adjustable strap, and signature prints using striking colors and patterns. The new designs allow you to choose either a feminine ruffle around the neckline and bottom of the cover or a pretty (and functional! It's perfect for pacifiers, nursing pads, cell phones) pocket on the front of the cover. The new design seems to be about an inch wider and shorter than the original, which doesn't sound like much of a change, but was definitely enough for me to notice and felt like better coverage.

One of my favorite changes that was made to the product is the packaging. Hooter Hiders are now shipped in a matching fabric pouch with the Hooter Hiders logo on it. Not only does this nearly eliminate packaging waste (there is only a small paper tag to recycle), but the pouch is perfect for keeping the cover neatly folded and easily accessable in your diaper bag. There's even a little ring that you can use if your bag has a clip inside it to keep it always within reach.

Coming from a mom whose baby doesn't like to be covered, I can say that if a full nursing cover is what you are looking for, Hooter Hiders does it best. The lightweight fabric is tolerated by my picky baby, and the fact that he can see me through the raised neckline helps a ton. Add to that the patterns and colors that are pretty, yet very often gender neutral, and the knowledge that the brand has been trusted by mom's for years, and it's an easy choice to make.

Reversible Double Bib in Parfait

Bebe au Lait makes a number of other baby products, including burp cloths, hooded towels, an Organic line, and reversible double bibs that I think are brilliant. Easy on and off and four unique sides to mess up make this a perfect bib for the diaper bag. They use some of their classic patterns with soft and absorbent terry cloth on the reverse side.  I will definitely be trying one of these!

Great News! I have a Hooter Hider Nursing Cover to give away to one of my readers! To enter, see geargiveaways.blogspot.com. Don't forget to follow me on Twitter to hear about my articles and giveaways as soon as they are available!
