Hooray, they are trying to bring Reading Rainbow back!

What a great program that was. LeVar Burton went everywhere and did everything and the children couldn't wait to read the books highlighted in each episode.

They learned about Science and life and so much more. It was a wonderful program to watch right after lunch or just before dismissal. There were episodes they you could purchase or tape that fit perfectly into a wide variety of units.

Since everyday in every elementary school is programmed to the minute, when would the students be able to stop preparing for the tests, watch the shows, enjoy, and learn?

The fun, the freedom, and the choices have been systematically removed from public education.
