Spending devoted time to consistently expanding their educational training paid off with many happy clients walking out the door, and ultimately gave them the gusto to open their own doors.
In 2008, Christine & Julie embarked on a joint venture, after their meticulous attention to detail in planning their very own salon, which everyone who had been in their chairs already knew would be an instant success. Salon Thairapy was rightfully named to encompass the many objectives they both have envisioned & committed to for years. Their salon & spa’s mission is to provide an overall sense of well-being in addition to a completely organic spa experience. Many salons in the greater Manchester area have adopted this idea, but Salon Thairapy has delivered on its mission, and the clients have taken great notice of it as the perfect blend of comfort & credentials, a business modeled with the mind of a consumer but perfection of an executive.
After just 2 years of opening their doors as a salon, Salon Thairapy took the leap of constructing an impressively designed 1400 square foot addition to house the spa they had always dreamed of. This step was a big hit with their already devoted clientele, and attracted a high volume of new clients who found they no longer had to go far to receive the very best service for their dollar since The Spa at Salon Thairapy is host to a broad range of desirable spa services such as facials, massage & body treatments. Practically unheard of for a salon to have such great success in a relatively short time of opening, Salon Thairapy quickly became the talk of the town which enabled the demand & means for the level of expansion that Christine & Julie happily obliged.
As an Aveda Concept Salon, all hair and skin services are completed using Aveda products, a company in its own right who has maintained a loyal fan base and natural ingredients for over 30 years. Aveda is the perfect medium for Salon Thairapy to deliver the needs of their clients, from entering the door to walking gleefully out of it. After studying the core of what Aveda represents, Christine & Julie knew it was a perfect match for their business, and so partnered with them to add that silver-lining to their already cutting edge business plan. All nail services use Spa Ritual products which is currently the leading organic nail care system & is free from traditional harsh chemicals such as formaldehyde.
Team Spa Thairapy had all the experience & skills to enter into a National Hair Competition in which they walked away with 3rd Place. The design was intricate and the competition was fierce, with countrywide acclaimed competition, so it was a major win, which caught the attention of all major local media coverage. Also making news are their charity events that have raised thousands of dollars for funds such as the NH Breast Cancer Coalition this past November. As co-founder, Christine received even more praise when earning the coveted title of “Best Hair Stylist 2011” after receiving the most votes among Hippo Press readers in and around Manchester; A title that her large clientele already figuratively granted her for many years.
Staying up to date with the latest styling trends, and maintaining an excellent reputation for their customer appreciation, has made Salon Thairapy the go-to, one-stop depot for women & men who crave a luxury experience for a reasonable price.
Luckily for the greater Manchester area, long gone are the days of battling traffic, worrying about salon cleanliness, dealing with rude receptionists and spending a fortune for an impersonal, generic cookie-cutter haircut then being rushed out like an unwelcome relative. Thanks to two actively-involved owners, who had experience of how business should NOT run, and the belief that customer satisfaction is priority, small & local business is once again thriving.
