Hoofin It through Denver: Five nights of culinary tours in the city

Denver restaurants and residents are incredibly passionate about responsibly raised animals and eating local. Hoofin It, a collaborative creation by Heroes Like Us, Mile High Business Alliance and Imbibe Denver, is a five night farm-to-table guided culinary tour through five Denver neighborhoods featuring a different hoofed animal each evening. Attendees will walk from each restaurant to the next as part of the event’s active and exploratory nature. Hoofin It will take place every night from Aug. 17 through Aug. 21.

“As restaurant owners we are committed to serving food that’s responsibly sourced from humane ranchers,” said Jensen Cummings, founder of Heroes Like Us. “Hoofin It supports local businesses and allows attendees to explore a new culinary experience in the city they call home.”

The schedule of events for Hoofin It is the following:

Night 1: Sunday, August 17

Stops include Vine Street Pub, P17, Humboldt and Denver Bicycle Cafe

Night 2: Monday, August 18

Stops include The Kitchen, 1515 Restaurant, Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar, and a pop-up stop at Moye White with food created by the Bad Apple and drinks from Peach Street Distillers

Night 3: Tuesday, August 19

Night 4: Wednesday, August 20

Tickets are $60 a person per tour and include food and drink pairings at each restaurant. Tours start at 5:30, 6:00 and 6:30 p.m. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older. A portion of proceeds from Hoofin It benefits the Mile High Business Alliance. Hoofin It is sponsored by The Humane Society of the United States.

“Hoofin It brings our social ideals together in a unique style of culinary engagement. Explore one neighborhood or explore them all,” said Cummings.
