Top of the morning to you! The traditional greeting for St. Patrick's Day. Honolulu is known for warm sunny blue sky, beautiful blue ocean and tropical breezes. It is also known for Irish Pride? Honolulu's premiere Irish Pub, Murphy's Bar and Grill, in downtown Honolulu. Murphy's is gearing up for it's 26th annual mega St. Patrick's Day bash.
Guinness Beer brewers regales Murphy's celebration "The single biggest St. Patrick’s Day party any one bar throws in the United States." Murphy's will be rolling out the green carpet for all of the Island's Irish community and those who are Irish for the day.
Murphy's is cooking with Guinness! Guinness braised lamb shanks and a Guinness Oyster Bar. Murphy's feast includes classic dishes, fish n’ chips, blarney burgers and what else? Corned beef & cabbage! For every pound of corned beef sold, $2.00 is donated to the Hawaii Children’s Cancer Foundation. The oyster bar, will have fresh shucked oysters, steamed clams, sauteed shrimp, crab cakes and oyster shooters.
Murphy's party is a family affair, with activities for children including a Keiki Corner, with face painting, balloons, crafts, and treats. The children's event is from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the pub.
Murphy's will open at 11:30 a.m. and serving lunch at noon. At 5:00 p.m. the Irish Block Party begins! The location is blocked off from traffic in a large two-block radius. Two local bands will be performing Celtic and Rock music, provided by local favorite bands, Doolin’ Rakes and the hard rocking of local bands Pirhanna Brothers.

From H1East-Take the Vineyard Blvd. exit. Straight until Nu’uanu Avenue, then take a right. Proceed down Nu’uanu, past King Street, we are located on the northeastern corner of Nu’uanu and Merchant Street.
From H1West-Take the Vineyard Blvd. exit. Straight until Nu’uanu Avenue, then take a left. Proceed down Nu’uanu, past King Street, we are located on the northeastern corner of Nu’uanu and Merchant Street.
From Waikiki-Take Ala Moana Blvd. westbound, until Smith Street. Take a right, and then another right onto King. The first right off King is Nu’uanu ave, take turn and we are located on the northeastern corner of Nu’uanu and Merchant Street.
Parking: Fee based or street (or take the public bus)
Street Parking is available in designated spots, metered parking (no payment needed if parking between 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.)
Open air lot is available diagonally right from Murphy’s for a set price per hour.
Chinatown Municipal Parking is available in designated parking buildings, closest being Marin Tower, one street Ewa from Nu’uanu Avenue on Smith Street.
Harbor Court parking available, entrance on Bethel Street, between Ala Moana Blvd. and Merchant Street.
