June “Mama” Shannon has taken the TLC earnings from “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” and placed it into long-term savings accounts for the girls. Now, according to the Huffington Post on Feb. 19, Mama has also declared that her girls will never be the Kardashian’s. Shannon also said that the family isn’t going to change despite the fame and fortune they've been fortunate to receive.
“My girls are not high-maintenance like them,” Shannon says. Honey Boo Boo and her older sisters prefer to play in the mud instead of going shopping. They don’t get their hair done and aren't seen hanging out at the local Wal-Mart Supercenter nail salon. They will always be uncomplicated, real, and unconcerned about statuses and labels.
Shannon says she has no plans to move her family from their small home in McIntyre, Georgia. June enjoys talking to fans when they drop by and will continue to post photos and fan mail on the official Honey Boo Boo Facebook fan page. June is all about teaching her family to appreciate what they have.
The world might not agree with their redneck ways, but one thing they can’t argue; the Honey Boo Boo clan is really caring, gives back to the community and appreciates their fans.
