“Honey Boo Boo's” mother, “Mama” June Shannon, has lost 100 pounds and she's strutting that new curvy body as the family shoots the next season. Losing that 100 pounds didn't change everything about “Mama” June. As seen on TMZ on Thursday, March 21, 2013, she's still got her finger up her nose during a break in shooting.
The article titled, “Mama June Picks a Winner” has a photo of June dressed up a bit, but her finger up her nose tends to block out all the new positives about her looks. At least she's trying to act like a lady, she's using her pinky in a dainty nose pick.
According to the Mail Online website Thursday, “Mama June” was “glamming it up” on Saturday night when she showed up for a red carpet event in NYC. This was temporary because as soon as she got back home she slipped into her old disheveled attire and disregarded her newly streaked locks, which looked messy. This website also mentions “Mama” June's nose picking, as they apparently caught her in the act as she was sitting on her front steps of her Georgia home.
The TLC crew was there filming Honey Boo Boo, the star of the show, as she used a hula hoop in the front yard. June said that the key to dropping the 100 pounds was nothing more than her busy schedule over the past two years. She once tipped the scales at 365 lbs. Today she is a bit lighter at 263 lbs.
