Here Comes Honey Boo Boo was back on television last night with the first of four special HOLLAday episodes, Honey Boo Boo Halloween.
Along with showing off costumes, and carving pumpkins, Honey Boo Boo and sisters decided it was time to give Mama June a makeover and cure her of her fear of mayonnaise.
Since the family are frugal shoppers, having the girls dye her hair at home was the cheapest and best way to go.
The girls are ready to help and of course when you get the girls and Mama June together, things never go as easy as they should.
They all gather around the kitchen table, where else, and right away Alana speaks her mind as she always does while adding the dye to Mama June's hair;
"Mama, all your bugs are jumping out your head, Smells like boot boo. . .and glue. . .and feet."
As Mama jokes that she should go blonde like Alana, she responds;
"Mama, you'll never be as beautiful as me. You just keep on trying, though."
Got to love her honesty.
After they are done, the girls are less then happy with they finished job but Sugar Bear is very happy with his wife's new look saying she looked like a blonde bombshell.
He did say earlier before he saw her;
"Seeing June as a blonde would definitely make my loins perk up,"
Jessica thought differently saying Mama June looked like a hot mess."Point blank, period, a hot mess."
It does not look bad at all to be honest, she looks younger even. As Sugar Bear said;
"Hubba bubba! That’s a sexy mama."
Sexy mama indeed, so sexy that she dressed as Marilyn Monroe for Sugar Bear.
Now it was time for the girls to help June get over her fear of mayonnaise, yes, Mayonnaise, the white stuff you spread on bread scares June to death.
While speaking of the condiment, June looks sick, turns pale, and shudders. She does say she eats it in potato salad or tuna salad if someone else makes it but that is it. She can not watch anyone use it though.
The girls though do not seem to care that it upsets Mama and present her with the bowl of mayonnaise, and Alana eats it with her finger, all the while Mama thinks back to her younger days and her baby sitter;
"If I watch somebody make it, I can't eat it. The reason why is because when I was growing up, the babysitter I had made mayonnaise sandwiches for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack... I can't talk about it, this is making my flesh crawl!"
The girls think it is ridiculous though and say it is stupid, as Jessica says;
'I think it's stupid that you're scared of mayonnaise, Mama, I mean seriously, it's mayonnaise, it's white and it's mayonnaise. C'mon, that's like ketchup but it's just white.'
Though Jessica does not eat "marranaise" because she is a vegetarian.
Makes sense.
Mama still will not try it and ends up almost having a panic attack over the mayonnaise, saying her throat is closing up on her. She yells at the girls to get it away from her.
Alana just shrugs and says; Mama was turning white, just like mayonnaise."
As always, there is never a dull moment in the Honey Boo Boo house and there are three more fun filled episodes of the family celebrating the HOLLA days.
