With season 16 of “Dancing with the Stars” fast approaching, rumors about possible contestants are spreading like wildfires. The latest involves Honey Boo Boo’s Mama June according to a Feb. 11 report on Celebrity Dirty Laundry.
Rumors that the mother hen of the brood featured on “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” have fans excited. Given her crazy antics and proclivity toward free speech, the feedback from judges could potentially be hilarious. And what about those backstage chats with co-host Brooke Burke Charvet? There is no telling what might come out of her mouth.
Mama June recently slimmed down considerably which adds fuel to the rumor. Getting in shape before taking on such a physically demanding show would be a smart thing to do. For those who are unfamiliar with Mama June and her family, check out the video with this article for a brief introduction.
Naturally we all have to wait until Feb. 26 for the official announcement but it is fun to follow the rumor mill in the days leading up to the announcement. Another recently rumored contestant is boxer Victor Ortiz.
