Honey Boo Boo “Alana Thompson” can always count on her fans for helping out others in need. On Tuesday June Shannon, Honey Boo Boo’s mom, revealed that the annual Christmas celebration at their house collected over $20,000 and thousands of toys. Having a Christmas wonderland in front of the house every night, fans come from miles around to meet the Here Comes Honey Boo Boo stars and enjoy a holiday moment. The people who benefited from the nightly event are the locals who are in need over the holidays.
“Well we R in Griffin celebrating Christmas with the family and leaving soon to do our last night of our Christmas display Kinda sad its came to a end,” wrote June Shannon on the official Facebook page of Honey Boo Boo. “We have had a blast this last month raised over $20000..Thousands of toys…5000+ cans.. Helped 93 kids…And its all thanks to all of yall.”
While Honey Boo Boo’s family has been actively contributing to the community, the annual light show tradition is ending on Christmas Eve. Hopefully those fans who want to spend a little holiday cheer with the family can check out the lights on December 24th just before the sparkling bulbs get put away for next year.
