Honey Boo Boo and her mother, Mama June Thompson, have encountered their share of controversy, but now they have some positive news to celebrate. According to TMZ on March 21, Mama June has lost 100 pounds.
The reality star is famous for being on the show, "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," which is centered around her overweight pageant daughter, Alana Thompson. There is no word on whether Alana has also lost weight.
The family's eating habits have been the source of negative comments from the public for quite some time. Obviously, the news that Mama June Thompson lost 100 pounds means she has made some changes in her diet. Perhaps she has added in some exercise, too.
However, that did not stop Honey Boo Boo's mother from picking her nose. A photograph was captured of the nose-picking incident while she was on break during a taping in Georgia. It must have been one huge booger because one side of her face is scrunched up and practically half of her finger is shoved up there.
Congratulations on Mama June Thompson losing 100 pounds. Perhaps her nose-picking habits will improve in the near future.
