Honey Boo Boo banned from selling Girl Scout Cookies

On Feb. 28 Us Magazine shares that Alana, "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson was attempting to help a Girl Scout friend sell cookies by using her Facebook page to do so before a representative from the Girl Scouts of America shut down the campaign saying that online sales aren't allowed.

On the shows' Facebook page, the family shared that they were selling the cookies for $3.50 a box plus shipping. Shipping cost would vary depending on how many boxes were sold. Each order would also include an autographed photo of the family. Within a couple days of posting the sale ad on the Facebook account, Mama June posted a photo of a trunk full of shipping boxes saying that all orders had been shipped.

Unfortunately, the campaign was shut down because the organization claims that online sales aren't allowed, however, they will allow Alana's friend to keep the sales that she has already made.
