A "Honey Boo Boo" ban has made one thing clear. Crazy Tony's antics are not welcome anymore. Tony Lindsey will not be appearing on future episodes of the hit reality redneck television series. Mama June laid down the law following his bizarre arrest involving a gorilla suit that took place last year, according to a Jan. 15, 2013 report by TMZ. Lindsey is understandably "bummed" by the early termination of his 15 minutes of fame.
Lindsey is not Honey Boo Boo's cousin as previously thought. He is just a family friend who has worn out his welcome. In November 2012, he and six other individuals were apprehended by police after participating in a dangerous stunt where one of the adults in the group donned a gorilla suit and acted like he was going to jump in front of traffic. Lindsey was allegedly the man in the suit. Alcohol may have played a part in the stupid stunt. Crazy Tony and the other four adults in the group were arrested for reckless conduct. The "Honey Boo Boo" ban is fallout from the incident. Mama June said the family friend is just "too crazy" for their family-friendly programming.
The "Honey Boo Boo" ban means fans won't be treated to any further televised nonsense involving Crazy Tony, but they can still read about him in the headlines if he doesn't manage to stay out of trouble.
