Honda CRX street races Lamborghini Murcielago at 160 mph

You won't be able to believe what your seeing when you watch this internet video of a 2001 Lamborghini Murcielago getting blown away by a 1989 Honda CRX hatchback. Don't second doubt the Honda, it may look slow but properly tuned and modified these are some of the fastest cars on the road. Extremely light weight chassis combined with a torque turbo charged inline four cylinder makes the CRX one of the most desired import vehicles on the scene. Well known through out the land for ripping up the drag strips, this CRX lays the smack down on a $180,000 Lamborghini with ease.

As you can see, the 1800 lb stock curb weight plus performance tuned modifications can really improve the Honda CRX. On average, weight reduction in a vehicle can remove as much as 300-400 lbs. It is possible that this CRX has had weight reduction as well, bringing the total weight down around 1500 lbs. Typical modifications for the CRX of this speed would be a larger turbo, high flow fuel system, intake, exhaust, and possibly nitrous oxide. Using Co2 intercooler spray in combination with water spray to help cool down the intake charge is a great way to add extra performance and style. "Icing" over the intercooler allowing intake temperatures to reach as low as mid 40's.  Call it "rice rocketry" if you must, but this CRX means business. Move over Lamborghini!
