According to a Feb. 27 AP report, Round 1 of the PGA Tour’s 2014 Honda Classic golf tournament is officially underway, as live streaming information, TV schedule, tee times and betting odds for the first step towards The Masters are now available.

Some of the best players in the world will test their skills against the par-70, 7,140-yard Champions Course at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Many will try but only one will come away with the $1 million prize and the 500 FedEx points.

Golf fans can follow the Round 1 action in a variety of ways. While the earlier portion of the opening round will not be televised, online users can stream the action live to a desktop and a number of mobile devices.

As far as (golf) betting odds are concerned, it comes as no surprise to see the usual suspects atop the list of favorites. According to Las Vegas experts, Rory McIlroy is projected to get his season off to a great start, leading the pack at +750 odds.

The 24-year-old from Northern Ireland has Tiger Woods stepping on his heels in this department, as the world No.1 has been tagged with +800 betting odds this weekend.
