Perfumers are describing the masculine fragrance by Beckham as having the top notes of citrus, ginger, pine and fiery pepper, with a heart of cashmere wood, leather and rosemary, and a “drying down” of mahogany wood, patchouli and musk.
Captured by fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan, the ad campaign features a topless, rugged yet polished Beckham penetrating the camera lens with his serious gaze.
Beckham is a force to be reckoned with as he sprints barefooted over a watery runway, hurling himself off the precipice and into a masterful dive!
The athlete-cum-fashionista is not new to the fragrance game, having launched six of them previously! The bottle for Homme is decidedly angular, with bold, black letters across and the word “Homme” appearing in a circle to the right of the bottle.
David Beckham says that he hoped Homme would quintessential DB, with the fragrance encapsulating his very spirit! The aim of the manly scent is to be modern, masculine and reflective of Beckham’s personal style.
The fragrance also promises to appeal to women as they smell it on their men… And that’s truly a lot to expect from any fragrance. Can David Beckham Homme deliver?
