Hometown metal heroes, Down, are kicking off a mini-tour in May and they have not forgotten to include Louisiana in the itinerary.
Riding on their latest EP release, Down IV Part I, the band has decided to do a seven city tour of the southeast beginning in Alabama with additional stops in North Carolina, Maryland, Georgia, and Tennessee before wrapping it up back home.
The first Louisiana show will be at The Station in Broussard on Thursday, May 30, and the tour culminates on Friday, May 31 at NOLA's House of Blues. Then this summer the Down boys will be heading over to Europe for several of the big concert festivals.
The six song EP, Down IV Part I, debuted at the top of the Hard Music Album chart and held the #1 slot for several weeks on Metal Radio following it's official September release.
