Self-proclaimed psychedelic country outfit, Futurebirds, are returning to their hometown of Athens, Georgia to perform their first hometown show since the release of their sophomore album, Baba Yaga on October 4, 2013. The album was released on April 16, 2013 on Fat Possum Records and VL4L. The band has been critically and fan-acclaimed with major publications such as SPIN, American Songwriter, The New Yorker and others hailing the band's praises. The Futurebirds know a thing or two about touring, having shared the stage with Drive-By Truckers, Widespread Panic, Alabama Shakes, Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, and Gary Clark, Jr. They have also been credited as a must-see act with their television debut performance featured on AXS Live, which can be viewed HERE.
