It is getting close to the finale on The Bachelor, but first, Ben Flajnik must criss-cross the country to meet the families of the final four bachelorettes for the hometown visits. Ben Flajnik meets the families on The Bachelor, in the episode airing on Monday, February 20, 2012 (8:00-10:01 p.m. ET) on the 'ABC Television Network.' ABC released advance information about the hometown dates in a February 14, 2012, press release. Following is a outline of the events set to unfold on The Bachelor.
In the February 13 episode, Ben gave roses to Kacie B, Nicki, Lindzi and Courtney. It is now down to the final four women and it is time to meet the families. After all, the families can tell a lot about a person. At the end of the episode, one of the four women will be let go, and Ben will have the field narrowed down to three women.
The first hometown date is with Lindzi's family in Ocala, Florida. Ben spends the day with Lindzi and her fun-loving parents on their picturesque horse farm. It is on this date that Lindzi opens up and tells Ben that her last relationship left her heartbroken. Her parents can see a change in their daughter, but does that mean that they will welcome Ben as a family member.
Ben's second date is with Kacie B in Clarksville, Tennessee. Baton twirling Kacie B. meets Ben in grand style, complete with marching band. Kacie and Ben picnic on a football field named after her grandfather. Kacie B. fills Ben in on her family history and her grandparents' inspiring love story.
In Fort Worth, Texas, Ben meets Nicki, the young divorcee. They go on a Texas-sized shopping spree, turning the Sonoma winemaker into a cowboy. Nicki warns Ben that her father is very protective since her divorce. Nicki and her father have a heart to heart talk that heals some old wounds
Saving his apparent favorite for last, Ben finally heads to Scottsdale, Arizona, to join Courtney. He meets with skepticism from Courtnety's mother, who doubts that Courtney loves Ben. The Bachelor should take heed, but probably will not. Courtney takes Ben to a romantic setting and tells him how she feels about him.
After the four hometown dates, everyone heads back to Los Angeles. Ben feels that he is falling in love with all four women, but one of them must be sent home. He says goodbye to one heartbroken bachelorette and then looks forward to traveling to Switzerland with the three who remain.
