Local homeschooling parents and husband and wife team, Melissa and Jeremy Jacobs, are running for life - not their own life, but for the lives of area babies and their mothers, and they would love the support of the homeschooling community in the St. Louis area.

This is Melissa's first time running, and she has been training diligently.  Melissa and Jeremy are parents of five of their own children and also regularly take part in prayer and Bound 4 Life rallies which is a silent prayer meeting to give a voice to those babies who lose their voices to a "silent scream" of abortion.

On August 21 starting in the Upper Muny parking lot, a team of runners will begin their 5K run for a cause.  The cause that will be represented is called Thrive St. Louis.

According to their web site, Thrive St. Louis is:

a Christ-centered organization that empowers people to make life-affirming and healthy decisions about sex, pregnancy and relationships.

They offer help ranging from sex education to ultrasound services and pregnancy tests.  They also refer those in need to a maternity home in Defiance, Missouri for young mothers who have no where else to go.

To make a donation of any size, from $1.00 on up, visit their Thrive donation page and show your support for a couple of local homeschoolers running for a purpose they whole heartedly believe in.

"Teacher...Mommy!" was always Tere's dream. Now, after a bachelor's degree, husband and babies, both dreams are top priority reality as she provides education to her children daily through homeschooling multi-grade levels.Joyfulsoundsdj@juno.com.

What amazing people! Thanks so much for sharing this story and their willingness to help out a worthy cause. I wish I could help monetarily. But please let them know that they are supported in my prayers as well as for the cause.
