Have you ever wondered how to develop a passion for science in your homeschooled children?  Do you find experiments a real pain?  Do many of the experiments you try flop in a spectacular way?  Do the science experiments your science program suggest require obscure materials?

If you've answered yes to any one of the above questions, then "The Happy Scientist" is something you should investigate.

Robert Krampf, the Happy Scientist, offers one of the most cost effective science programs on the planet. For a mere $20 a year, you have access to over 100 videos and over 300 science experiments with more being added each week.

Krampft's activities have been selected to use household items, making it easy to perform them without spending a lot of money or hunting for special equipment.  In fact, they are so easy to perform that my 8 year old children have been watching the videos and doing the experiments on their own for 2 years already.

However, his activities are not just for the early elementary school group, they are presented for a broad audience, so everyone from young students to adults should get something out of each of them. Many of them can be turned into interesting science fair projects.

My family can attest to the above. My favorite part about Krampf's website is that my children do not consider a visit to it as being schoolwork. They think it is a real treat to watch the videos and to do the experiments.

Krampf's passion for his subject shines through everything he does and the children drink it in. He's funny, he's passionate and above all, he is a superb teacher.

Krampf is showing his support for the homeschooling community by sponsoring the G.U.E.S.S. Homeschool Science Fair on 9 November 2009.
