Homeschool freebies: Math Line Designs from Around the World (PDF)

Scholastic has two Math workbooks that feature line designs from various world cultures. The books are a fun way to practice skills and there are two books; the first is for grades 2 and 3, the second is for grades 4-6. Both books have 64 pages and a free, 12 page, PDF sample.

Math Line Designs

The second to third grade book provides practice and reinforcement for basic math skills such as 2 and 3 digit addition and subtraction facts (no regrouping) multiplication and division and estimation. The fourth through sixth grade workbook provides practice for multiplication, division (no remainders) decimals, place value, fractions and brain teasers. Children work through the book by completing problems then using a color code for coloring in the pictures. The books are reproducible and can be printed on regular printing paper or card stock.

Those who don’t want to print books or pages manually may want to take advantage of Fed Ex’s printing service. Fed Ex will print your books then send them to you. You may learn more about Fed Ex Printing here: FedEx Office Print Online
