For What? Homeschool Day @ Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum

Contrary to popular belief, homeschoolers have tremendous amounts of choices to get out and socialize with other homeschoolers to have fun AND learn. Here comes another fantastic outting for homeschoolers, so save the date!
The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum will be hosting a homeschool day on March 28, 2012 from 10am-3pm. Enjoy discounted rates for exhibits, IMAX Theatre, and Texas Spirit Theater.
In addition to activities for the students, there will also be a Resource Table for homeschool educators offering lesson plans related to this event.
There are three floors of exhibits with different themes: Land, Identity, and Opportunity. You can click here to learn more detailed information about the exhibits.
There will also be a special, temporary exhibit called Texas Music Roadtrip that explores Texas music from jazz to modern country rock. Students will also have the opportunity to make their own instruments.
If you are anything like me and like to save money on eating out, you can bring your lunch. There is a covered picnic area across 18th street at the Stephen F. Austin building. You also have the option to eat lunch on site at the Story of Texas Cafe.
