Homemade Valentines Day Gift Ideas - Vanilla Infused Vodka

This cool Valentines Gift idea;  Vanilla Vodka is easy to infuse yourself.

Making homemade vanilla infused vodka is much easier than making homemade Limoncello.  Homemade vanilla infused vodka also infuses much quicker than Limoncello at 3-4 days, (Limoncello takes at least a month).  Vanilla infused vodka takes a fantastic homemade Valentine present that can be enjoyed by you or your Valentine.  You can also use the vanilla beans later to infuse sugar for Vanilla sugar, which are wonderful as gifts and for cookies.

Homemade Vanilla-Infused Vodka

• 1 pint of vodka
• 1-2 Vanilla beans or vanilla bean pods (great use for used vanilla beans)
• Flip-top bottle or well-sealed jar

Directions

1. Scrub and sterilize jar or flip top bottle
2. Cut Vanilla bean length wise (do not scrape seeds)
3. Place vanilla bean/s into empty jar of bottle.  Pour vodka over vanilla beans.
4. Let distill for 1-4 days, remove the vanilla bean.
5. Print label and glue onto bottle or jar.
