Homemade Bubble Bath

The shopping holidays are over and now the cleaning season is coming. For those long, tiring days of hard work, there is a cure. A night filled with a relaxing hot bath, while reading your favorite book, magazine or catching up on your favorite show. I have a bubble bath recipe that soothes the skin, rejuvenates the body, and calms the soul.

All you need to do is mix:
½ cup of any shampoo
¾ cup of water (make sure it is hot water to melt the ingredients)
¼ teaspoon of salt

It can be put in a container or any empty jar; I put mine in a small bottle. I added some Dove body wash, and baby oil to mine for vitamins and softer skin. I also added a tad of cucumber and green tea essential oil to make the smell even more heavenly than it already is. This DIY recipe is really up to you if you want to add more as well, since the recipe is very basic. Once the amount is mixed, add as much to your bath as desired (for bubbles).

Let’s face it, hard days call for a night of free therapy; a bath should be a monthly rejuvenation, if not weekly. Light a candle, fill the tub, treat yourself and relax.
