Homeless in California: Bull terrier so depressed hardly lifts her head

Found wandering the sidewalk and homeless on the 1900 block of W. Randal in Colton, California, this beautiful seven-year-old brindle and white bull terrier has been microchipped, but unfortunately her chip is not up-to-date. With no identification and no collar, Nicole (A471021) now waits for her human or the chance to be adopted at the high kill facility, San Bernardino City Shelter.

Nicole was picked up as a stray on August 13, and if she is not claimed will be available for adoption on August 23.

Volunteers who have met Nicole state she is extremely sweet, but very depressed. Is she sad because she misses her family? We wish Nicole could speak.
