On Nov. 3, Showtime released a sneak peek preview and a set of promotional photos for "Homeland" season 3 episode 7 "Gerontion." Spoiler alert: if you don’t want to know what’s coming up next week on the show, stop reading now!
The preview (seen below, left) begins with Saul speaking to Javadi. He warns, "You killed 219 Americans. I got plans for you." Bad news for Quinn and Carrie though, when police at Javadi's ex-wife's house reveal that Quinn was caught entering the home on a neighbor's security camera.
Also in the preview, Javadi asks Carrie, "You still haven't asked, 'Who moved the bomb?'" Carrie answers, "Maybe I already know the answer to that." Javadi cryptically replies, "Maybe you don't."
The preview ends with Saul attempting to smooth things over with the incoming Director, Senator Lockwood. He pleads, "This is a once in a lifetime operation that can transform everything!" Will the Senator attempt to shut the operation down before Saul and Carrie can clear Brody's name? Will Fara take things into her own hands with her scissors? It's getting crazy!
The official synopsis for the episode reads:
Saul makes the gamble of his career; Carrie and Quinn try to contain a local police investigation; Mira's marriage is at a crossroads.
It’s going to be an exciting episode that you won’t want to miss so tune in next Sunday night to West Palm Beach Comcast channel 340 (Showtime) to see "Homeland" season 3, episode 7 "Gerontion."
