"Homeland" will air its season three finale on Showtime later tonight, and now fans are being teased about the episode and what is next for season four when the show returns next year. On Saturday, Dec. 14, CBS News shared new comments made by Claire Danes about the finale. Latin Times also shared spoilers for the episode.

This finale will show Brody trying to make it out of Iran, but will he be successful? This series is going full speed ahead, and this means that anything is possible on this episode. Claire Danes teased the following:

The finale is pretty big. As you might expect. A lot happens in the finale. The writers continue to take really bold risks and we're always exploring new territory. We're not afraid to question who these characters are, and re-imagine them.

During the finale, Brody may die, and there will be a development with Carrie's pregnancy. Fans will also see more of Saul's affair with Meera. Even with the finale not airing yet, fans already known one thing about season four. Morena Baccarin and Morgan Saylor have been demoted from regular cast status for next season, according to Seriable. They might be seen, but it would only be in a guest appearance fashion.

Fans will have to watch tonight to find out what happens next to Brody and Carrie. "Homeland" will air its finale on Showtime.
