This is such an easy recipe and so loved by friends and family alike!
To make the fudge you will need:
1 bag butterscotch chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup dried cranberries or raisins
1/2 cup raw peanuts
broken pretzels or crumbled Ritz crackers
1/2 cup Heath bar bits.
Prepare a baking pan by either greasing it with butter or by lining it with parchment paper. To make it easier to remove the fudge, allow the paper to hang out the sides so you can lift it out after it has hardened. Set aside.
In a large saucepan melt the chocolate chips, butterscotch pieces, vanilla extract and the condensed milk. Stirring frequently.
Once all the yummy chocolate is melted add the raisins or cranberries (AND Cranberries if you like!), peanuts, crackers and Heath bar bits. Stir well to combine.
Pour the mixture into the greased pan. Place it into the fridge until it is hard. (an hour or two) Once the fudge is hard, cut into small squares. You don't need much, it's incredibly rich and I can tell you from experience it IS possible to eat Too Much Fudge.
Served in fun Christmas dishes wrapped in cellophane or in Christmas treat bags, this fudge makes an ideal gift for friends and the neighbors.
