Home Improvement's Taran Noah Smith arrested on DUI & drug charges

Tim the "tool man" Taylor, also known as Tim Allen  is most likely a little disappointed to hear the news of the recent arrest of his youngest TV son Taran Noah Smith, earlier this morning.

 
TMZ reported that Taran Noah Smith, 27, who played the youngest Taylor son on the hit comedy "Home Improvement," was arrested on February 1, 2012 on alleged DUI and drug possession charges.
 
L.A. police officials revealed that Smith was arrested around 1:00 am after officers believed Smith to be operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of marijuana, the officers also stated that Smith had has on his person at the time of his arrest.
 
Taran Noah Smith is best known for his role as Mark Taylor on the Tim Allen hit comedy "Home Improvement." He is currently in custody in L.A. where he is being booked for DUI and drug possession charges.

In 2001 Smith made news when he took over control of his $1.5 million trust fund after he accused his parents of squandering away his earnings, after they purchased their selves a mansion with his funds.
 
Smith was married in 2001 to Heidi van Pelit, but the couple divorced in 2007.
 
Taran Noah Smith remained active in Hollywood from 1995-2008 appearing on a number of television shows including episodes of 7th Heaven, The Pet Shop, Celebrities Unleashed and Child Star Confidential.
 
Cincinnati fans of Home Improvement can still enjoy the comedy reruns nightly on your local cable network channel TV Land.
