The local police received a phone call around 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning claiming that two people had walked into a Home Depot’s outdoor display shed and didn’t come out. When the two police officers arrived, they found Emily Craig, 20, partially clothed and Shaun Bowden, 31, with even fewer clothes on – to the point that his privates were totally exposed. According to the police report, after questioning the two, it was obvious that they had engaged in sexual intercourse within the outdoor display shed at the national home improvement store.
The two were placed in the Charleston County Detention Center. Ms. Craig was charged with being a nuisance and disorderly conduct while Bowden was charged with the same two offenses plus indecent exposure.
While strange, the report says that there was a stranger case last October when a Florida couple were caught engaging in sexual activity on the top of a table in at a restaurant after a customer complained that children could see the public indecency. In that incident, Tiffani Lynn Barganier and Jeremie Calo, both 32, engaged in sexual activity on an outdoor table at an Orange County restaurant. Police were called, but not because of the sex. The restaurant manager called the police because Calo refused to pay his $101 restaurant bill.
