1500 employees are needed at Home Depot in various Metro Atlanta areas. They are hiring for sales associates, lot attendants and home and garden associates, to name a few. Openings will be distributed throughout the 62 metro Atlanta stores. No pay scale has been disclosed but pay would vary depending on location, position and the experience level of the applicant. In addition to the aforementioned positions, Home Depot has also announced that it plans to open a new Customer Service Support Center this year in Cobb County, bringing in about 700 jobs over a 3 year span.
The call center will be based in the Chastain Meadows commercial office park in Kennesaw north of the Town Center Mall. This facility will be open later this year and will open with about 400 jobs and expand to 700 by 2015. It is reported that the salary range for the CSR's will be in the mid $30,000 range.
