Where can you get affordable, high quality, and personalized education? Holy Family University’s Division of Extended Learning has a continuing education program for adult students. Accelerated programs offer three credit courses over a five to eight week session and meet for four hours once a week.
Accelerated degree programs
The program takes adult higher education to new levels by challenging students to reach their academic best. Students will find rigorous coursework and projects that are not limited by classroom walls. They are enhanced by the expertise of field experts and guest speakers.
The continuing education programs offered at Holy Family are undergraduate and MBA continuing education. Subjects include a business international education program, nursing, and advanced management programs.
Students returning to college
Holy Family’s continuing education student does not fit a profile and could be your neighbor, relative, or coworker. A student-faculty ratio of 15:1 assures an individualized classroom learning experience.
New continuing education programs at Holy Family
The new hybrid program began fall 2009 for existing students and spring 2010 for new students. This MBA continuing education level program offers the best of on line and classroom education. Students meet for one week at the start of the semester and one week at the end of the semester. The rest of the course is taught on line. There are continuing education students from the state of Maryland.
Holy Family’s mission
Philip Moore, Assistant Vice President, Division of Extended Learning states.
“We want to see people succeed. Going back to school is not easy. Instructors, staff and administrators at Holy Family University understand this, and work together to help you succeed. We also want to make sure we’re providing courses that we think are rigorous and useful beyond the classroom. The courses can be hard but we think they’re useful. We want to provide real world experiences. One of the things they say about global trips is that, beyond just knowing about international business, it helps students problem solve in complex situations. It’s something closely connected to the university mission.”
An information session about the Accelerated Degree Programs offered will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 from 9:30-11:00 am. Extended Learning headquarters, Woodhaven location; 1311 Bristol Pike; Bensalem, PA 19020.
